Cleaning Built for Mission-Critical Environments
Four service categories. One specialty. Every engagement documented to ISO 14644-1 standards with NIST-traceable particle count verification.
A Different Kind of Cleaning Service
Most cleaning vendors send crews to follow a generic checklist with consumer-grade supplies. Cascade operates differently. Every engagement follows protocols derived from Capitoline DCCS methodology, uses ESD-safe equipment and chemicals designed for cleanroom environments, and produces documentation that supports OEM warranty compliance, SOC 2 audits, HIPAA environmental controls, and internal facility management archives.
Below are the four service categories we offer. Pricing varies based on facility size, frequency, ISO classification, and scope. We provide written quotes after a no-obligation walk-through.

Post-Construction Cleaning
Critical-environment cleaning for newly built or expanded data center space. Construction generates extraordinary levels of particulate that must be removed before hardware installation. We provide deep cleaning, particle count verification, and a written turnover report demonstrating ISO 14644-1 Class 8 readiness.
Pricing: $2.00 – $5.00 per square foot
Emergency Contamination Response
When a contamination event occurs — water intrusion, construction breach, fire suppression discharge, accidental chemical release — Cascade provides four-hour local response within the service area. We measure contamination, contain spread, remediate affected zones, and provide full documentation supporting insurance claims and OEM warranty discussions.
Pricing: $300 – $500 per labor hour, $1,500 minimum callout
Particle Count Audit Only
If you need a one-time particle count assessment without cleaning services — for compliance documentation, audit preparation, or to establish a baseline before procurement — we provide standalone particle count audits with full written ISO 14644-1 reporting.
Pricing based on facility size and complexity.
What We Don't Do
Transparency about scope matters. We do not provide:
General office cleaning, restroom cleaning, or break room cleaning
Window cleaning, exterior building services, or grounds maintenance
HVAC servicing or mechanical repairs
Pest control or biological remediation
Construction or facility build-out
We focus exclusively on critical-environment cleaning and contamination documentation. When clients ask for adjacent services, we recommend trusted partners in those fields rather than expanding our scope.

NIST-Traceable Particle Counting
The cleanliness of a data center is not visible to the eye. It is measured. Cascade carries a calibrated, ISO 21501-4 compliant six-channel particle counter on every engagement, with a current NIST-traceable calibration certificate. We measure six size channels simultaneously — 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0, and 10.0 micrometers — and produce results in particles per cubic meter, the standard unit referenced in ISO 14644-1.
ISO 14644-1 Class 8 — the cleanliness classification required by most major hardware OEMs as a warranty condition — sets specific maximum particle concentrations. We measure your facility against those thresholds before and after every cleaning visit. The numbers go into your report. The reports build the documentation trail your warranty defense, audit response, and compliance posture depend on.
Our particle counter is recalibrated annually by an authorized laboratory to maintain NIST traceability. Calibration certificates are available for client review upon request.
The First Step Is a Free Audit
Every new client engagement begins the same way. We schedule a 60 to 90-minute on-site walk-through with a calibrated particle counter. We assess your current contamination state at six to ten representative locations, identify any visual contamination hotspots, and document the findings in a written report delivered within five business days.
The audit is complimentary. The report is yours. There is no obligation to engage Cascade for ongoing services. If you decide to move forward, we provide a scoped proposal based on what we observed and what your facility requires. If you do not, you keep a current ISO 14644-1 baseline assessment of your space — useful for compliance documentation regardless of who performs the work.
Common Questions
-
A standard monthly above-floor cleaning visit for a 3,000-5,000 sq ft server room typically takes 2-4 hours. Quarterly deep cleaning with subfloor work takes 6-10 hours. Post-construction cleaning depends on facility size — typically scheduled as a one-day or multi-day engagement.
-
We work around your operational schedule. Many clients prefer overnight or weekend service to avoid traffic. Our pricing is the same regardless of hour, though true emergency response (off-hours, immediate dispatch) carries premium rates.
-
Standard service contracts are 12-month terms with monthly billing on Net 30 terms. We offer 5% discounts on 24-month contracts and 8% discounts on 36-month contracts. Annual prepayment receives additional 3% discount. ACH and check payment preferred; credit card accepted with 3% surcharge.
-
We provide consolidated billing and reporting across multi-site engagements. Each facility receives its own service schedule, dedicated documentation, and individual compliance reports, but invoicing and contract management consolidate to a single relationship.
-
Yes. Our Tier 3 service package includes audit-specific documentation packages, and we can produce custom evidence packages for any audit framework on demand. We do not provide audit consulting services — we provide the environmental control evidence that auditors require.
-
Major hardware manufacturers including Cisco, NVIDIA, Oracle, Sun, IBM, HPE, and Dell EMC increasingly cite ISO 14644-1 Class 8 environmental compliance as a condition of warranty coverage. Specific requirements vary by product line and contract terms. We recommend reviewing your specific warranty documentation.
-
Yes. We carry $2M general liability, $5M umbrella, Oregon workers compensation, professional liability, cyber liability, and a $25,000 fidelity bond. Certificates of Insurance are available on request and can name your facility as Additional Insured.

Three things. First, specialization — we do not service offices or general commercial spaces; data centers and cleanrooms are our exclusive focus. Second, certification — both founding members hold active Capitoline DCCS credentials. Third, measurement — we bring a calibrated NIST-traceable particle counter to every engagement and document compliance in writing. General commercial cleaners are excellent at what they do; they are not equipped for the standards critical environments require.
